Joseph Eulo is a filmmaker, educator, and community builder with over fifteen years in independent film production. Founder of the NYC Indie Film Collective and First Frame Media, he has produced and directed narrative films, documentaries, and educational content across multiple disciplines. He teaches Film Studies at Union County College and holds a Master's in Media Studies from The New School.

How did the filmmakers gain access to their subjects?
El Serumaga spent several years building relationships within the NDE and contact experiencer communities before a single camera rolled. Many subjects agreed to participate because they trusted the sincerity of the inquiry — not as a paranormal entertainment project, but as a genuine investigation. The production's community partner, the Ascension Institute, provided additional access to experiencer networks that are rarely documented on film.
How does the series handle claims that can't be verified?
The series is structured around testimony, not proof. The filmmakers don't attempt to verify individual accounts — they document what people say happened to them and examine whether patterns emerge across independent testimonies. Where scientific frameworks exist (the Quantum Hologram theory, consciousness research), the series presents them rigorously. Where they don't, it lets the pattern speak for itself.
What were the biggest production challenges?
Coordinating interviews across twelve filming locations on two continents presented significant logistical challenges. More difficult was creating an interview environment in which subjects — many of whom had never spoken publicly about their experiences — felt safe enough to go deep. Segment Director Michael Phillip Edwards developed extended pre-interview sessions with each subject specifically to address this, often spending hours in conversation before the camera was turned on.
Is this series taking a position on whether these experiences are "real"?
The series takes a position on the testimony — that it deserves serious investigation and that the patterns it reveals are significant. It does not take a position on metaphysics. The audience is left to draw their own conclusions from what the subjects describe and what the scientific frameworks suggest.

On The Spectrum Studios and First Frame Media today announced Interdimensional, a ten-part investigative docuseries directed by El Serumaga and Joseph Eulo, premiering in 2026 with a 105-minute pilot episode.
The series gathers testimony from nineteen voices — including Harvard astrophysicist Dr. Rudolph Schild, Emmy Award-winning journalist Linda Moulton Howe, producer and researcher Melissa Tittl, and sixteen additional experiencers and investigators — to examine a pattern running through two phenomena that science has long kept separate: the near-death experience and the extraterrestrial contact experience.
